Social Committee Refunds
Many residents had bought tickets for the St Patrick’s Dance and/or the Spring Fling before access to the clubhouse was limited due to the Coronavirus. Once government restrictions are lifted and the Clubhouse is once again accessible we would like to offer several refund options:
Residents will be given a credit to be used towards tickets for a future event.
Residents can choose to include their money in our donation to the Neighbour to Neighbour Centre whose resources are severely stretched during these trying times.
If necessary residents will be given a refund upon request
Note: Cheques for the Spring Fling have not been deposited so they can be returned.

Calendar of Events
Ticket Sale Policies:
The first two weeks of ticket sales are for resident tickets. Single residents may purchase a guest ticket (at the guest ticket price) at this time.
The initial sale will be held at the clubhouse and following this sale, tickets can be ordered online through the Garth Trails website. Please use this system rather than calling the ticket coordinator directly.
Each household is limited to the purchase of four resident tickets at the initial sale.
If available, guest tickets will be sold after the initial two week sales period.
Table assignments should be made at time of purchase. Guest table assignment should not occur until after the initial resident sales period. Tables hold eight people only.
If a ticket is purchased and you are unable to attend the event, please contact the Ticket Sales co-ordinator to discuss a refund. At events where food is included in the ticket price, refunds will not be provided after the food order has been placed.
To ensure those on the waiting list are offered tickets first, do not sell/give your tickets away
Ticket Sale Procedure:
Sale dates will be advised via Clubhouse notifications
A signup sheet will be available on the lobby desk when the clubhouse opens at 8 am. This will be used by the ticket sellers to orderly prioritize purchasers.
Sales begin at 9am
When all tickets have been sold, a waiting list will be created from the remainder of the original signup sheet. (To accommodate the waiting list please do not sell/give your tickets away)
If you miss the ticket sale day, please order online through the Garth Trails Website where you will be contacted when/if tickets are available.

Mission Statement: As a self-sustaining volunteer organization, the Garth Trails Social Committee strives to enhance our community by sponsoring an assortment of affordable social events that promote fellowship, fun and community interaction.
To provide a mix of activities that will allow the majority of residents a spectrum from which to select and allow for an interaction and contribution within the community.
To have affordable events that will encourage both participation and interaction.
To communicate itineraries of events so residents have the opportunity to plan their attendance in advance. To encourage residents to bring forward their ideas and suggestions for enhancements.
